GARY GALLAGHER, O.D.

Dr. Gallagher is a native to Montana, where he received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science, Biology degree in 1974 at Carroll College. He continued from there to Southern California College of Optometry from which he received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1978. Following graduation, he worked in a practice in Los Angeles for two years with Dr. Michael Hollinger before moving to Redding, California to open his own private practice.

Enterprise Optometry was established in 1980, and following years of establishing a wonderful patient base, we moved to our current state-of-the-art facility in 1998. Dr. Gallagher has been an active member in the Golden Empire Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, and California Optometric Association.

Dr. Gallagher is the proud husband to wife Linda, and has four daughters; Erika, Lauren, Alexis and Skyler. Gary is active in church and is a participant in tennis, racquetball, golf, camping, hiking and many outdoor activities. He is extremely grateful for the business and wonderful patients he has been blessed with.

Diana "Di"

Office Manager Di has been working in the optical field since 1984. Her duties consist of all the areas of office management, insurance billing, and dispensing. She is currently our well liked and respected office manager. Di is best at taking care of all of the financial aspects of the office. Di grew up in Burney, moved and lived in Reno for many years, and finally settled back in Redding in 2003. Di's caring attitude reflects in her fun personality she brings to work every day.

Sandy

If you have ever been to our office, you will remember Sandy's bright sunny smile and her contagious laughter. Sandy has worked for Dr. Gallagher for 17 wonderful years. One will almost always find Sandy at the front desk visiting with patients, most of whom have become good friends with her. Sandy is now partially retired, working three days a week so that she may spend more time with her family.

Jenny

Jenny has been with our office for four years, but has 22 years in the optical field. She is ABO certified and holds a Califonia state license. Jenny specializes in lab work, frame repairs and adjustments. She is our expert at "frame makeovers", and has a great time finding the perfect frame for patients. When she isn't helping patients with vision needs, she enjoys writing, shopping and traveling with her husband and children.

Leanne

Leanne is a wonderful gift to our office, coming from Santa Rosa a year ago. She brings 15 years of optical experience with her, along with her genuine love of helping people. Leanne is an ABO certified optician gifted in progressive lenses and frame selections. Leanne will spend whatever time necessary to aid a patient in finding the perfect set of glasses.

Amanda

Amanda has worked in our office for six years and is our resident insurance expert and chart manager. She is very skilled at working through the complex issues involving insurance companies and policies. Amanda is a problem solver when it comes to office equipment, computors or many of our behind-the-scenes needs. When not working, Amanda enjoys spending time with her children and fiance.

Erica

Erica is our Optometric Assistant. She has worked in our office for nearly three years. She specializes in pre-testing patients for exams, and also heads our contact lens department. Erica is very knowledgable about the ever changing contact lens industry and which lenses will benefit patients the most. When not working, Erica enjoys dancing, shopping and spending time with her family.

Lauren

Lauren is the second daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Gallagher, and the second child to work in our office. When not attending Shasta College, Lauren can fill in for most all of our job positions but retains the official title of Office Assistant.
