GARY GALLAGHER, O.D.

Dr. Gallagher is a native of Kalispell, Montana. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in 1974 at Carroll College and continued from there to Southern California College of Optometry from which he received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1978. Following graduation, he worked in a practice in Los Angeles for two years with Dr. Michael Hollinger before moving to Redding, California to open his own private practice.

Enterprise Optometry Group was established in 1980, and, following years of establishing a patient base, we moved to our current state-of-the-art facility in 1998. Dr. Gallagher has been an active member in the Golden Empire Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, and California Optometric Association.

Dr. Gallagher is the proud husband to wife Linda, and has four daughters; Erika, Lauren, Alexis and Skyler. Gary is active in church and is a participant in tennis, racquetball, golf, camping, mountain biking, hiking and many outdoor activities. He is extremely grateful for the business and wonderful patients he has been blessed with in our beautiful community.

MITCH MARTIN, O.D.

Dr. Mitch Martin was born and raised in Sitka, Alaska. He attended both California Lutheran University and Pacific University and received his Bachelor of Science from Pacific University in 1992. In 1996, he received his Optometric Physician degree from Pacific University College of Optomtery. Dr. Martin then served a one-year residency at the Portland Veterans Administration Medical Center where he specialized in diabetic eye disease, geriatrics, and primary eye care. He was an adjunct clinical professor for Pacific University, a member of the American Optometric Association, and served as a liason to the U.S. Congress. He has been in family private practice for the last fourteen years.

Dr. Martin and his wife Jill live in Redding, California. They have a son Xavier, and daughter Sofia. Dr. Martin is active in many community, church, and outdoor activities, including: coaching youth sports, Boy Scouts of America, Rotary and Lion's club, golf, hunting, and fishing. Dr. Martin is thankful for the warm welcome and trust that he has received from the Redding and surrounding communities.

Erica

Erica has worked in our office since 2007. She previously led our Optical Division but has recently been promoted to Office Manager. Erica is very knowledgeable about the ever changing intricacies of the spectacle lens industry and and is very conscious of selecting lens parameters that will work best for various prescriptions. She also has a keen eye in helping patients select eyewear, analyzing what shapes and colors will work best with each individual. She is very style conscious and particularly enjoys working with patients' special needs.

When not working, Erica enjoys spending time with husband and children.

Amanda

Amanda has worked in our office since 2003 and is our resident insurance billing expert. She is very skilled at working through the complex issues involving insurance companies and policies. Amanda is a problem solver when it comes to office equipment, computers or many of our behind-the-scenes needs.

When not working, Amanda enjoys spending time with her children and husband.

Lauren

Lauren is the second daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Gallagher, and the second child to work in our office. When not attending Shasta College, Lauren can fill in for most all of our job positions but is currently the head of the contact lens division and is the primary pre-testing technician in our office.

Courtney

Courtney began her journey with us in December 2009.  Without previous optical experience, she has quickly learned a wide variety of jobs.  While she is most frequently the smiling face at the front desk, she has also learned pre-testing, contact lens training and some opticianry skills.  She can help you with most questions or problems you may have.

Jenny

Jenny has been with our office for seven years, but has 25 years in the optical field. She is ABO (American Board of Opticians) certified and holds a Califonia state license. Jenny specializes in lab work, frame repairs and adjustments. She is our expert at "frame makeovers", and has a great time finding the perfect frame for patients.

When she isn't helping patients with vision needs, she enjoys writing, shopping and traveling with her husband and children.
